Question: Well, Janet, it may be a paradox to ask a lineal question about something which seems to be beyond that, but how old is this phenomenon?

Answer: Crop circles were already reported many centuries ago, in the early Middle Ages. And there are many cave paintings of patterns that resemble crop circles. That means they could have appeared already thousands of years ago.

Question: How long have you been researching the Crop Circles and what led you to become interested in this topic?

Answer: My research started in 1994 after having visited a crop formation in the Netherlands, close to where I lived. I was intrigued and wanted to know more, so the next summer I went to Wiltshire, England, to find answers.

Answer: The 2001 Milk Hill formation at Alton Barnes, Wiltshire, UK, because it was absolutely huge! More than 400 circles, more than 1000 ft across, that formation blew my mind!

Question: Many investigators have reported anomalous phenomena and spiritual nature experiences when inside of some agriglyphs. Have you had these kind of experiences?

Answer: Yes, I have had sudden bliss experiences (utter happiness), sudden headaches, extreme fatigue, tingling hands and feet, pressure on my head, the feeling of being totally protected and guided, and so on.

Question: Is there any statistical record of how many of these strange and beautiful formations have been found until now?

Question: What do you think about the persons who try to emulate these master pieces and claim to be their authors?

Question: Are Crop Circles exclusive of corn crops and related plantations fields or have they been found in other places?

Answer: They have been found in many different fields: wheat, barley, grass, canola, rice, maize, carrots, potatoes, but also in snow and ice, and even in forests where entire trees were bent down to the ground in a circle.

Question: Which are the main characteristics that help investigators to distinguish between genuine formations and hoaxes?

Answer: the genuine formations have biophysical changes such as blow nodes (expulsion cavities), elongated nodes, bent stems, twisted nodes and stems, sometimes you find many dead flies stuck to the plants, high concentrations of magnetite particles on the ground, etc. Also, you can see it by looking at the details of the flattened crop: how is it laid down? It there interweaving of the plants? Is there bundling of the stems? Is there a beautiful flow or is it a mess? And, also very important: you can feel it. A genuine crop circle makes your heart sing, a hoax does not.

Answer: Yes, I was. This was back in 1998 in a crop formation at Cherhill, Wiltshire (UK).

Question: What kind of anomalies were and are reported in genuine Crop Circles?

NO SEEDS: In some cases the seed heads of crop circle plants do not contain any seeds. Biophysicists have no explanation for this.

ELONGATED AND EXPLODED NODES: This is the result of brief, intense heat. The moisture in the plant is turned to steam by the crop circle energy (an unknown energy resembling microwave energy). As a result, the moisture expands (steam takes up more space than moisture). If the plant is not ripe yet, the rising pressure can be absorbed by the nodes: the most flexible parts of the plant. These nodes expand and remain forever in the outstreched position. They do not and can not stretch back into their original position. One can often find these elongated nodes in crop formations that appear in the early crop season (April, May, June). In ripe crop however (in July, August and September) the plants are no longer that flexible. As a result, the plants cannot absorb the pressure of the expanding steam, and the nodes explode like an egg in a microwave oven. The scientific word for exploded nodes is ‘expulsion cavities’, but in the fields we simply talk about ‘blown nodes’.

BENT NODES: When I talk about bent nodes, I don’t mean phototropism or gravitropism, which cause the plants to bend in a vertical position due to the influence of the sunlight or gravity. What I mean with bent nodes is horizontal bending, which causes the plants to ‘change direction’ lying flat on the ground. If the plant has multiple bent nodes, a circular effect is automatically created. This too cannot be reproduced by human hands. You can try it: the plant will either break or bend back. Node bending can only occur when the node bends faster on one side than on the other. In other words: the cells are only manipulated on on side.

BENT STEMS: This too is a way to bend and lay plants horizontally on the ground. It is the same principle as we’ve seen on the previous page: bent stems can only occur when the stem grows faster on one side than on the other. In other words: the cells are only manipulated on one side. This phenomenon is especially spectacular when it involves large, vulnerable crop, such as oil seed rape.

TWISTED PLANTS: Twisted plants show the traces of an intense energy form. The leafs, stems, nodes and/or seed heads are exposed to this energy in such a way that twists and turns are created.

TORN OFF PLANTS: In some crop formations, the seeds heads have been ‘torn off’ their stems. These seed heads can sometimes be found lying on the ground, but sometimes they seem to have vanished. In other cases the stems have been ‘cut off’ under an angle, at different heights.

BUNDLING: Bundling is the phenomenon where crop circle plants are bundled by their leafs, quite probably caused by a spiraling wind or stream of air. Bundling cannot occur when the plants are simply pushed down, parallel to eachother. After all, the leafs are twisted around the plants.

ANOMALOUS GERMINATION: Anomalous germination and growth patterns are the result of electrical pulses. This can be measured at cellular level by means of a Redox test. Crop circle seeds show an extremely high secretion of free radicals, caused by the intense stress to which the plants were exposed. As a result, crop circle plants show anomalous germination and growth patterns. As was the case with the energy’s effect on the nodes, here too we see a difference between the effects in young and in ripe crop. When a crop circle appears in young crop, its seeds germinate and grow up to five times as slow as usual. When a crop circle appears in ripe crop however, its seeds germinate and grow up to five times as fast as usual.

DEAD FLIES: In 1998 I discovered dozens of dead flies in a crop formation at Cherhill (UK). The flies were stuck with their ‘tongues’ to the seed heads of the standing stems in the formation, and had thus died. I could not find one dead fly outside the formation. Lab analysis could not find the cause of death, but ruled out pesticides and fungi. Had the flies been hit by the ‘Circle Makers’ energy? Were they ‘at the wrong place at the wrong time’...?

GHOSTS: Sometimes a formation reappears a year later. For instance, in 1999 the 3-Dolphins formation appeared in a wheat field at Barbury Castle in South England. One year later, the shape of the 3-Dolphins was visible again in the new crop: barley. This can only be explained by the energies affecting the soil.

ANOMALOUS SUBSTANCES: In 1996 white powder was found in a formation at Zutphen (NL). EDS (Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy) showed it was a soda-lime-silica compound, with great resemblance of ordinary glass (SiO2). The powder consisted of tiny spheres, some of which were melted together as a result of intense heat. Furthermore some of the spheres showed striae: another indication of heat. With heat I mean temperatures exceeding 3000 degrees!

In 1997 large amounts of anomalous white, sponge-like substance was found in a formation at Brummen (NL). Lab analysis showed that we were dealing with a copolymer of styrene and butylacrylate, with carbon as its main component. This copolymer can be produced in a lab in order to be used as a coating. However, the shape of this particular copolymer was completely unknown to scientists. Their conclusion was that extremely high temperatures had had to be at work in order to create this particular shape... The small part that I have at home keeps growing, i.e. new crystals keep developing on the ‘sponge’. It is completely unknown to chemists how this can happen.

MAGNETITE: In the soil of many crop circles, large amounts of magnetite can be found, sometimes up to 800 times the normal quantity. This is caused by a strong magnetic field in the higher atmosphere (ionosphere) that attracts meteorite dust (magnetite) and sucks it down towards the Earth, where it hits the ground in a newly formed crop circle.

OTHER EFFECTS ON THE SOIL: recent geological study has shown an increase in degree of crystallization (greater ordering of the atoms) in clay minerals in crop circle soil. The results of this XRD-research (X-Ray Diffraction) have recently been published scientifically and can be seen at www.bltresearch.com. This is a quote from the scientific paper: “It must be kept in mind that this increase in degree of crystallization (greater ordering of the atoms) in clay minerals has not been documented in surface soils before. Such changes are typically seen in sedimentary rock which has been exposed —for hundreds, if not thousands, of years— to both heat from the earth’s core and the massive pressure of tons of overlying rock. If such a change were to be demonstrated (with statistical significance) in surface soils in an in-depth study at crop circle sites, it would certainly inspire increased academic interest in the causative mechanism behind the crop circle phenomenon”. Maybe this increase in degree of crystallization also causes the ‘ghosts’ and the fact that sometimes snow won’t melt on a spot where a crop circle was many months before. It also occurs that snow melts imediately where a crop circle was months before, as if the soil is a few degrees warmer than normal...

ATMOSPHERIC PHENOMENA: In some cases, something interesting occurs above crop formations. A nice example is this small and very local rainbow right above a formation in Hoeven (NL) in 2002.

In 1998 a group of crop circle researchers witnessed a spectacular event in the clouds above the East Field at Alton Barnes (UK). During the sunrise on the winter solar solstice, a ‘cloud formation’ appeared above the field where —several months before— a beautiful seven-fold formation had been. A V-shape descended from the clouds, simply hung there for about half an hour, and then ascended again to blend wih the cloud cover...

Question: Have samples of plants and affected crops been analyzed in laboratory? What were the results?

Question: As long as we know, there have been UFOs and balls of light reported in countless opportunities before, DURING, and after the formation of some of these extraordinary pictograms. Is there a direct relationship between UFOs and Crops Circles?

Answer: Yes, I think there is. I was present on 3 occasions when a crop formation was formed. The first time, in England in 1995, there was a very strong presence and a bliss experience, plus an intense electro-magnetic sensation. The second time was in Germany in 2000, there was an eary darkness and stillness that came from above and that covered the entire area. The third time was in 2005 in England, where a huge red ball of light appeared over a wheat field after which a formation was visible at dawn. So yes, I am convinced there is a link between these lights (UFOs) and the crop formations.

Question: There is a film shot in Southern England labelled “Oliver Castle’s” video, a short clip taken in southern England during the Summer of 1996, that appears to show the actual forming of a snowflake-shaped crop circle. Also depicted are four rapidly moving balls of light (“BOLs”) whose presence seems connected in some way with the forming of the crop circle. Is it true, a real evidence, or is it a hoax?

Answer: It is absolutely genuine. That footage was analysed by many labs in America, England and the Netherlands. All the experts on video imaging and computer simulations stated that they found NO traces of it being hoaxed. We have their reports, once you read all the technical details, you understand that it is truly for real.

Question: Taking into account different facts and evidence, who or what do you think is behind the Crop Circles?

Answer: I think there are many different Circle Makers: Extra Terrestrials, the Earth itself (think of the role of the leylines), angels and guides (that many people have seen in the crop circles, including myself), humans from the past and the future (there are many clues in the crop formations to support this idea), and also people of the present on a (sub)conscious level (see for instance http://www.circularsite.com/gedachten6-eng.htm)
There seems to be an enormous plan going on in which many different entities take place, like a Divine Interventions with many co-workers.

Question: If there is a non-human intelligence behind the phenomenon, what do you think could be its purpose? Is there a message that’s trying to be conveyed through all of this?

Answer: I believe the crop circle are a major Wake-up Call. There calling out to wake us up and to grow, both on an emotional and a spiritual level. They help us go through the 2012 Shift by raising our frequency and by helping is remember who we truly are and what are powers truly are.

Question: Do you believe that worldwide governments are secretly studying the Crop Circles to know their power and understand their meaning, while, on the other hand, they appear busy debunking and distorting the phenomenon?

Answer: Absolutely. Taking the view that governments know at least as much about this phenomenon as us researchers, one may assume that they are aware that crop circles are a communication means used by an unknown intelligence, maybe of extraterrestrial origin. Therefore, it is absurd to think that any government/army would not be interested!
